Irv and LaVergne (Kobler) Hardman

Albertine LaVergne Kobler, daughter of Albert and Anna Kobler, was born on March 19, 1917, in Morland, KS. She died on 10 Feb 2013 in Lawrence, KS. She married Irv Hardman on July 23, 1938, in Morland, KS. He was born on July 23, 1916. He died on Feb. 4, 1995 in Hill City, KS. Irv and LaVergne are both buried in Hill City Cemetery, Hill City, KS.

LaVergne (Kobler) Hardman Obituary

Albertine LaVergne (Kobler) Hardman, 95, Lawrence, died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born March 19, 1917, in Morland to Albert James and Anna Jane (Davis) Kobler.

She married Irv Hardman on July 23, 1938, in Morland. He preceded her in death Feb. 4, 1995. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Blaine Hardman, Westmoreland, and Doug Hardman, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico; three daughters, Debbie Harley, Ashville, N.C., Nancy Hardman, Lawrence, and Mindy Loveless, Lyndon; a sister, Phyllis Madden, Rose Hill; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two infant children, Rebecca and Gregory.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Hill City; burial in Hill City Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Hill City United Methodist Church or Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment for Palliative Care in care of Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City.

    Michael, Dad (Irv) died in Hill City.

    Thanks for putting this on. I took the ipad to Mom sometimes when I was staying with her during day and would pull up this site for her to look at. She really enjoyed looking at all the pictures.
